This past snowball weekend was O-U-T-S-T-A-N-D-I-N-G! Leadership celebrated 20 years of Snowball here at EPCHS. Many students, returning and new, attended this fabulous weekend retreat. The three day weekend retreat was held at Camp Manitoqua. Throughout the weekend, snowballers were split into ten themed small groups. In these small groups snowballers got to know each other, participate in fun icebreaker games, and grow as leaders! We heard from three amazing speakers: M&P, Dean Jeske, and Kate Garnes. Returning speakers M&P talked about confidence and learning to EMBRACE THE AWKWARD! On Saturday snowballers participated in teacher and alumni led breakout sessions. Ranging from making grilled cheese by the campfire to learning how to do your own makeup! The end of the evening we had our talent show! Many fearless snowballers took the stage and wowed the audience with their talents! To finish off the weekend we had our parent closing ceremony and students came up and shared what they learned from the weekend. “At snowball I learned to take risks” and “Here at snowball I learned to not judge others and embrace the awkward”! Cheers to another successful snowball and Happy 20th anniversary!
