Evergreen Park Community High school has purchased the Evergreen Park Racquet & Fitness Club right by the Dog Park with plans to renovate the club and turn it into a field house. It will be renamed the EPCHS Sports Complex. Current memberships at the Club will continue, and members will have the opportunity to experience new equipment and enjoy a variety of brand new spaces for sports.  

Superintendent O’Malley is very excited about the Sports Complex because it “will provide the community with a unique space that we currently do not have in the area.” EPCHS wants both the community and its students to benefit from the renovation so it will still be open to the public. “Our little league baseball, youth softball, recreational soccer, youth football, as well as our full community will have an opportunity to enjoy the space,” says Superintendent O’Malley. Current EPCHS students should be very excited about how the EPCHS Sports Complex will turn out and how it will benefit the school and community.
