The Evergreen Park volleyball program has had a pretty good season so far. For conference, the Frosh team has a record of 7 wins and 1 loss, the JV team has a record of 3 wins and 6 losses, and the Varsity team has a record of 5 wins and 4 losses. Head coach Casey O’Toole said, ” With a team as young as Evergreens, finding a groove has been challenging, but they are learning to overcome the obstacles thrown at them each game.”

Under the leadership of co-captains April Kirts and Maggie Tracy, the girl’s varsity volleyball team fought hard and secured a win on senior night. One of the many all-around players on the team, Skylar Slepicka, had some thoughts to say. “The work that our coaches have put us through has increased our skill level. The chemistry on our team has also greatly improved since the beginning of the season.”

The volleyball program recently celebrated its seniors, April Kirts and Emma Van-Schaik, at the game against the Chicago High School for Agriculture Sciences.
